The livestock Management Information System (AMIS) Mobile application supports Rwanda’s Ministry of Agriculture and livestock Resources (MINAGRI) in recording livestock and delivering field services. Awesomity has worked on mobile workflows that let authorized field officers and veterinary professionals register farmers, livestock holdings and livestock, manage ear tag and vaccine stock, and record livestock health activities. Online and offline capture supports work in areas with unreliable connectivity.

01
CLIENT
A national platform, serving livestock operations.
MINAGRI is responsible for the national agricultural sector in Rwanda. Within the AMIS initiative, the mobile application supports the people who collect and validate livestock information in the field and carry out veterinary service workflows. Its records connect farmers, livestock holdings and livestock so each livestock can be associated with the appropriate owner and location.
02
CHALLENGE
Reliable field records, across connected and offline settings.
Registration is a linked process: a farmer account may be needed before a holding is assigned to an owner or manager, and an livestock must then be registered under the correct holding. Field users/vets also need to handle ear tags, vaccinations, treatments and movement permits while working across different administrative areas and connectivity conditions. The work requires clear validation of identity, location, livestock and stock information, as well as a way to capture records offline and synchronize them later. Some workflows depend on supporting services and APIs, so delivery has been sequenced around available integrations and immediate field priorities.
03
APPROACH
Built around real field workflows.
The team translates business rules and stakeholder feedback into mobile flows, designs, testing scenarios and phased releases. Emergency rollout priorities focused the initial Field Service and Professional workspace on farmer accounts, holdings, livestock, vaccination, treatment, ear tag management and permit verification. UAT preparation and user guides support stakeholder testing and feedback. Offline work includes reference data and assigned records for selected locations, local capture of accounts, holdings and livestock, draft saving, synchronization status and retry handling.

OWNERSHIP, NOT TICKETS
SCORES YOU CAN DEFEND.
Building that took more than a working model. Every score had to hold up skill by skill against CEFR, the global standard for language ability, not one overall number that looked about right. When a hiring manager asks why a candidate scored the way they did, Evala can answer.
