3. How We Use Your Data

We process your data for the following purposes:

Purpose

Legal basis (GDPR)

Understanding how visitors use our Website, improving content and user experience

Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) / Consent where required for non-essential cookies

Identifying potential business leads and following up on inquiries

Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f))

Responding to contact form submissions or inquiries

Performance of pre-contractual steps / Consent (Art. 6(1)(b)/(a))

Complying with legal obligations

Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c))

Where we rely on legitimate interest, we have considered that this interest is not overridden by your rights and freedoms — for example, analytics and B2B lead identification are standard, low-impact practices for a business website, and you retain the right to object at any time (see Section 7).

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our Website uses cookies and similar technologies, including those set by Google Analytics.

  • Essential cookies: required for the Website to function properly.

  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): used to understand visitor behavior in aggregate. These are only set with your consent where required under Dutch/EU cookie law, via our cookie consent banner.

You can manage or withdraw your cookie consent at any time through [our cookie settings tool / your browser settings]. Note that disabling cookies may affect Website functionality.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party service providers, who may process your data on our behalf or as independent controllers:

Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC)

Used to analyze Website traffic and usage patterns. Google may process data outside the EU/EEA. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable, and we have configured IP anonymization where possible. See Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Apollo.io (Apollo.io, Inc.)

Used for identifying business visitors, enriching contact data, and supporting our sales outreach. Apollo.io may process data outside the EU/EEA, subject to appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses). See Apollo.io's privacy policy: https://www.apollo.io/privacy-policy

We have data processing arrangements in place with these providers where required by GDPR.

6. International Data Transfers

Some of our third-party providers (including Google and Apollo.io) may transfer data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or an adequacy decision.

As Awesomity operates through both Awesomity B.V. (Netherlands) and Awesomity Ltd. (Rwanda), personal data collected via this Website may also be shared between these two entities for the purposes described in Section 3. Rwanda is not currently subject to an EU adequacy decision, so such transfers are made subject to appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses between the two entities.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at launch@awesomity.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), or your local supervisory authority.
