GLOBAL CLIMATE is a Munich-based software company with roots in tax consulting and auditing. Its GLOBAL SUITE helps companies measure their carbon footprint and meet statutory reporting duties such as CSRD, LkSG and the EU Taxonomy. Its customers range from manufacturers and retailers to hospitals, sports clubs and multinational groups, including Sandvik, Bergzeit, Isar Klinikum and VfL Bochum 1848. The team brings together lawyers, sustainability experts, auditors and software developers, and that mix shapes the product: every number has to hold up in an audit.

CHALLENGE
A lot to untangle.
When NSFO came to Awesomity, they were dealing with challenges many mid-market organizations will recognize. Legacy systems that needed modernizing. Fragmented tools that had to come together into one coherent platform. And new features to build — without disrupting the production environment that farmers rely on every day. On top of that, the domain is highly specialized. Livestock administration, breeding values, government compliance, pasture ecology, agricultural AI — NSFO needed a team that could learn fast and flex between data science, backend, frontend, UI/UX, and product ownership as the roadmap evolved.

Awesomity didn't come in as a vendor with a fixed scope. We embedded as a long-term product partner — a rotating team of 3 to 5 engineers with full ownership of the products we build. We co-create the roadmap with NSFO's stakeholders.
