OX Delivers

As OX scaled, its operations spread across separate tools and manual processes. Orders, shifts, vehicles, charging and payments each lived in their own place. Finance needed data from operations, and getting it there meant re-typing numbers by hand. Charging added its own headaches. Charger data was often incomplete, and nobody could say exactly how much energy each truck used or what each session cost. Then there was getting paid. Most customers paid in cash, so every transaction had to be chased, recorded and reconciled manually at the end of the day. On top of that, Rwanda requires an official tax receipt for every sale, issued through a government-certified system. OX was producing those one at a time, by hand.

Awesomity came in as OX's technology partner, not a one-off vendor. We designed, built, tested and kept improving the web and mobile apps OX's teams and customers use every day. We worked in steady cycles, shipping as new needs came up rather than waiting for big releases. When OX hit a problem outside the usual scope, like a third-party tax system with almost no documentation, we took it on. We handled the investigation, integration, testing and certification ourselves.
